Voice actors scour the internet every day searching for work.

In the beginning, actors often believe it’s about getting an agent. They debate over which pay-to-play casting sites (voices.com or voices123.com) will guarantee more jobs or which microphone to purchase to yield the best results. It’s easy to wonder if there’s “the right person” to know in order to work at FUNimation. Oh, and let’s not forget about the classic questions of “do I need a demo?” or “how long should my demo be?” or “should I have multiple demos?”

All of this information can be useful to know (we have blogs about them here), but none of them actually guarantee an actor work.

The only thing that guarantees a voice actor work is to be skilled in the art of voice acting.
