What to Expect in Class:
Using the Voices Carey method, we teach you to design or define a scene and in that scene to ask the actor’s questions, use your five senses, and charge the words with your own emotional spin.
Each week we tackle a different script. It could be commercial, anime, audiobook, video game, e-learning, animation, promo, or documentary. At the start of class, you are given a script to prepare and rehearse. Then you’ll have time with the coach to receive feedback and direction on your performance. You evolve as a voice actor by building skills upon skills from the previous lessons.
Generally, everyone gets a first pass and then a second after notes given by the coach. Or everyone gets one on one time with the coach, round robin style. We might give you a character to prepare then change the character. You could even write and perform your own script or direct other actors. The structure of the class changes and evolves based on the coach’s discretion to create a dynamic and engaging learning experience. You won’t be bored!
After each class we will email you the script we worked on and the recording of everyone’s performance.
•Pick one class day of the week to attend from either Monday, Wednesday or Thursday evening from 6:30pm to 9:30pm Central Time or Saturday morning from 9:30am to 12:30pm Central Time.
•We ask that you pay $169 monthly; payment due in full at enrollment. You can join us any time during the month; your consecutive 4 week enrollment period begins on your unique start date.
•You’re paying for the month: 4 consecutive weeks, 1 class per week. Come to as many of the 4 classes on your chosen day per month as you can.
It is your responsibility to show up for class. There are no make-up classes, or extending your enrollment period for a missed class.
Classes are hosted online through Zoom.
We host our group classes online over Zoom. So no matter where in the world you are, you can join our weekly classes filled with other aspiring acting students and taught by our experienced instructors. We also offer private 1 on 1 lessons online over Zoom and Skype.

Choose to attend any one of the four scheduled classes.
There’s no need to for you to buy any additional audio, video or computer equipment to start. You can use your laptop.
